Susanne Sundfør ft Røyksopp – Running to the sea

Oh my, how nice isn’t this? Can’t wait for Thursday to come, when the song gets released.

Susanne and Røyksopp is the perfect combination!

What do you think?

Good evening cupcakes! I just wanted to show you some more work I just finished. If you want to see more you can visit my Flickr account as usual. The reason I’ve been extremely bad at blogging lately is a mix of many different excuses really: loads to catch up at school (I’m making a book!), being with friends when I don’t work with my book and  I’m also planning to make a new blog which will “open” after Christmas (you know, new year – new possibilities). I’ve been thinking about getting my own domene for ages now, and as I’ve started studying photography I think it’s about time to get more “serious”. I will also focus more on my blog and try to blog every day. The new blog will contain London tips, my photography work, interiour tips and of course fashion (outfits, tips etc).

Another big change that will appear on the new blog is the language – I will start writing in both Norwegian and English.

I hope you guys will continue reading my blog when I open the new one, and I can promise you it will be more “professional” and have better quality. Stay tuned…

As for now this is what I’ll tell you about my new blog, so let’s talk about my Friday instead.
Me and Elin went to the Norwegian Church and ate a lovely, Norwegian Christmas dinner together with ANSA and 110 other Norwegian students. After dinner we went to China White and danced the night away. Great friday. Saturday wasn’t that great though, hehe. How was your weekend?

Today I  had another shoot in the studio with beautiful Naomi, and for once I was actually really pleased with the result (I can tell you that doesn’t happen often). If you want to see the rest of the pictures, check out my Flickr.

Have a lovely noon, people.

My first studio pictures ever. Really fun but oh so difficult to get the lighting right!

Alfred Hall – So bright

Over to the headline – I wanted to show you a song by this singer, Alfred Hall, called “Safe and sound” but I can’t find it anywhere (I heard it on the radio) so instead “So bright” is the song of the week.

I have to mention that I used to think Norwegian music was really bad and boring but lately (the two last years) this situation has changed completely!
The last year i have discovered so many great Norwegian bands and singers. If you want to find new, cool, “undiscovered” Norwegian music you should check out this website. Loads of great stuff!

Have a lovely Monday peeps, with or without music!

As the weather gets colder I always tend to get dryer skin, especially on my hands. If you share this problem with me I have a little tip on this dark and rainy Wednesday: the hand creams from L’occitane. I always buy the travelsize ones when I’m at the airport, and Paris was no exception. Usually I buy the one with shea butter which smells great, but this time I bought the one with almond. They are perfect to store in your bag and makes your hands feel soft and moisturized – my absolute favorite over and over again. And hey, they look good as decoration as well!

Do you have any favorite moisturizers for hands?

Back in London after four days in lovely Paris with my Photography class.
This was my first time in Paris and it was a pretty hectic trip with a way to big schedule, so I focused on doing the “clishé” stuff like visiting the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, Laduree etc. There were a lot of shops and cafés I wanted to visit but the main reason for going to Paris was to attend the Paris Photo festival, so shopping wasn’t something I could prioritize this time.

Fortunately I’m planning a new trip to Paris with a friend during summer and then I will certanly enjoy Paris properly!

Although it was a lot of stress and little time to enjoy the city, I had a really good time with wonderful people. I also got some time to go crazy in the pharmacies which are like candy stores!

So I’m happy with my mini vacation and think Paris was a stunning place, but it was also great to head home again.

What do you think about Paris?

Imagine Dragons – Radioactive

I haven’t really heard of this band untill recently when this song was played on the radio, but oh God - amazing!

I checked out their other songs as well, I didn’t like them as much as Radioactive but I really like the band and can’t believe I haven’t discovered them before!

And hey, go Obama!
